  Light snacks can be provided but I strongly recommend that you make a reservation and enjoy a full dinner. The set menu will set you back in the region of €35 euros and is beautifully presented, delicious and worth every penny.

  Set amongst some of the most picturesque scenery of Northern Spain, this beautiful building has been sympathetically restored by its owners to create a simply stunning Boutique B&B. Everything has been thought through, even to the most minor detail to create one of the most relaxing settings I have ever been fortunate enough to stay in.

  The welcome is warm and professional. Dave and Javier are charming hosts. Dave is an excellent cook and Javier a mine of local information. They will respect your privacy but be on hand should you need anything.

  This place is amazing!! Dave & Javier are perfect hosts to feel immediately at home at their beautiful B&B. The house is very stylishly decorated. The room has a beautiful view, a very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Javier has great knowledge of the area and Dave is a very good cook and a brilliant baker! I loved the way the food ( all organic ) was presented, everything into detail.

  Breakfast is similarly fabulous with freshly baked bread and cakes every morning. Everything that isn't made in house is purchased locally and sustainability is taken seriously here.

  Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, freshly baked bread, homemade jams, local cheeses and fresh juice along with freshly baked cakes and biscuits.....what better way to start the day than with fresh, local produce whilst absorbing the breath taking views of the gardens and surrounding mountains.

  Such a lovely hotel; beautifully decorated and stunning location! Dave and Javi are amazing hosts, they really went out of their way to make sure we had the best 2 days. I really enjoyed my stay here, a great place for relaxing and walking! Will definitely be back again.

  My only negative comment about El Gran Sueno is that they were unable to offer me a job. You're immediately made to feel at home as soon as you arrive and would have been perfect to end the holiday by resigning from life in the UK and escape to this most idyllic place.

  On our final night here we dinned in the garden whilst being fortunate to observe the strawberry moon fill the sky [this apparently will not happen for another 70 years]. Our three course dinner was restaurant standard, not only in its presentation but also in its taste. The passion behind ensuring everyone's needs are met is apparent not only from the quality of the food, but also the service provided, a true credit to Dave and Javier. This rings true for everything they do for you during your stay.
